Social Welfare Awareness and Assistance Committee (SWAA)

Functions and Responsibilities

  1. To create public awareness on the benefits of social welfare such as SOCSO, Ministries’ aid and allowances, motor insurance and public sector assurance, and education funding as a source of assistance to those underprivileged and vulnerable groups
  2. To disseminate this information to the volunteers who can then leverage on the knowledge gained to help more needy without having to raise funds from the general public
  3. To educate the business and social community on the importance of these social welfare as an effective tool for humanitarian aid
  4. To build the service and support groups that can render assistance to the needy in securing this social welfare benefits
  5. To use the seminars as the platform to attract and recruit like- minded volunteers who will be the backbone of Be Good Do Good to contribute their time and effort for our charity works
  6. To use the seminars as the platform to attract and recruit like- minded entrepreneurs and business operators who will become the core donors to Be Good Do Good
  7. To convert those recipients of social welfare assistance into volunteers who can in turn help more needy people

Social Economy and Funding Committee (SEF)

Functions and Responsibilities

  1. To source for entrepreneurs who are willing to use their proven business model to create social enterprises that contribute part of their profit to Be Good Do Good. Hence provide us multiple streams of fund from various social enterprises.
  2. To match-make the business opportunities offered by these social enterprises to those impoverished groups who will benefit from their involvement in term of financial and/or skills development. In the process, we will change these beneficiaries to learn how to fish rather than burdening Be Good Do Good with long term financial assistance
  3. To attract successful entrepreneurs and enterprises to fund our programs by offering them to become our honorary donors and due recognition for their contribution
  4. To ensure financial stability of Be Good Do Good to carry out its planned programs via introduction of innovative funding solutions to individuals and enterprises. Be Good Do Good seeks to tap into both the money making and money spending activities for its sources of fund.

Sharing Committee (SIS)

Functions and Responsibilities

  1. To create BGDG card as a source of regular income for Be Good Do Good’s coffer. Merchant will be participating in this program by offering discount cum donation to both the card holders and Be Good Do Good respectively.
  2. To establish a charity ecosystem that link charity organizations, corporations, government agencies, education institutions and other stakeholders within the charity fraternity in order to boost the convergence and sharing of the resources and market intelligence. Hence allow the resources to be deployed in a more efficient and effective manner
  3. To build up the student resources in universities and colleges via their voluntary clubs as one of our sources for volunteers as well as our target to instill the spirit of volunteerism in younger generations.
  4. To identify those worthy and high impact charity projects for Be Good Do Good to co-organize or in partnership with other stakeholders in the charity fraternity.
  5. To organize Be Good Do Good’s annual convention which conduct the “Be Good” seminars in the day and the gala dinner to recognize exemplar Samaritans and charity organizations at night
  6. To garner the feedbacks from the stakeholders in the charity ecosystem and provide input to the Budget 2021 for them to hear the voices from the ground

Functions and Responsibilities

  1. To seek suitable “Be Good” programs that could assist our members in their self-cultivation and self-renewal to bring out their humanistic values such as filial piety, compassion and giving in them.
  2. To instill the “Be Good” culture and behavior into Be Good Do Good that strengthen its members from within to deal with the “Do Good” charity challenges externally
  3. To develop and spearhead various “Be Good” education and training programs for the members, volunteers and corporations that will help build a socially responsible and harmonious society
  4. To establish systems of assessment for benevolence that will become the industry standard for recognition of good deeds exhibited by individuals and organizations. Hence sow the seeds to grow more angels in our society.

      Functions and Responsibilities

      1. To disseminate and gather information for Be Good Do Good via social media (Facebook, Instagram, website etc) and offline media and channels (press, magazine, printed materials, radio etc)
      2. To develop a team of videographer and photographers for documenting the charity activities and personalities in the charity fraternity
      3. To develop systems using latest technology for an efficiently run operation such as development of Charity ecosystem stakeholders database system, Membership database system, crowd funding system etc
      4. To do big data analytics that improve donations and make bigger impact to charity works in terms of best practices. These data collection and analysis in a Charity Knowledge Bank will assist the policy makers to make better social welfare decisions.
      5. To position Be Good Do Good as a trusted brand in the eyes of the world. With a strong brand, it will helps us to increase opportunities for fundraising and spreading awareness of what we are doing to make a difference to the society.
